Our Kids classes emphasize the physical and mental skills required for self-defense and personal growth. These skills are taught in a supportive and non-competitive manner with emphasis placed on drilling and refining both solo techniques as well as techniques involving partners. Kids learn a variety of skills such as rolling/falling, strikes/blocks/kicks, throwing techniques, ground work, joint locks and manipulations.
My daughter started with The DOJO last November attending classes once a week. She absolutely LOVES it. I found her excitement for the class contagious and decided to try classes for myself. I started weekly classes and have since decided to attend two classes a week instead of just one. The atmosphere is amazing, and the instructors are very patience and understanding of the different abilities of each student.
